Show "'- Mr. and Mrs. Ivan S. Robb Robbs called on Mission Mr. and Mrs. Ivan S. Robb have been called to serve an LDS Mission in the Anchorage An-chorage Alaska Mission. A farewell will be held July 22 in the Paragonah Ward at 2 p.m. They will enter the Missionary Training Center in Provo on August 2 for four weeks of training and orientation. Mr. and Mrs. Robb met and married six years ago. Together they have 11 children and several foster children, 29 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Vivian has three daughters and a son: Mrs. Mike (Connie) Smoody and Mrs. Bobby (Sandy) Walkenshaw both of Las Vegas, Karen Ferguson, Paragonah and Ray Ferguson who entered the mission home July 5 to serve in the Louisville, Kentucky Mission. Ivan has five daughters and two sons: Val Robb and Mrs. Les (Ginger) Hulet of Paragonah, Mrs. Jack (Sandra) Stevens and Mrs. Roy (Jackie) Benson of Parowan. Mrs. Jerry (Penny) Ward and Mrs. Elroy (Tess) Mason of Cedar City and Gaylord Robb of Salt Lake City. He also had several foster children and Indian students in their home. Mrs. Robb was born in Minnesota. She moved to California during WWII and married a man in the construction con-struction business. They lived in several areas including, in-cluding, New Jersey, Edmonton, Ed-monton, Alberta, Texas, Indiana. Their last 15 years was spent in Las Vegas where she joined the Mormon Mor-mon Church. Mr. Robb was born in Paragonah. He and his late wife, Zelma, were married there and except for a short interval in Salt Lake City, have made their home and raised their family in Paragonah. Both have been active in their ward and community. Mr. Robb served for 16 years on the Town Board. He retired last year as' an Engineer from the Union Pacific Railroad having served them faithfully for over 30 years. |
