Show Thieves take Midnight Ride A Cedar City man and a juvenile were arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly stealing a pickup truck from Bradshaw Chevrolet and causing over $2100 in damage at the dealership. According to arresting officer Chuck Bauer, the two males involved apparently found the keys in a pickup truck on the Bradshaw lot and pushed another vehicle over 30 feet with the pickup so they could ride around the parking lot. The two then allegedly found the keys in another vehicle and drove it through the lot a number of times until they collided with the same car that had been pushed with the pickup. Again using the pickup truck, the two reportedly drove through the locked gate and left the area. Shortly before 3 a.m. the Cedar City Police received a call from 299 East 575 North that a pickup had been driven through the front yard fence at that address. According to Officer Bauer, the pickup was found to be the same one taken from Bradshaw Chevrolet and after a brief investigation in-vestigation officers arrested the juvenile at his home nearby. Also arrested for driving under the influence, joyriding, and the destruction of private property was Barry Frank, 19. Both men are released from custody at this time pending court action. |
