Show Parowan Council requests Tax Increase PAROWAN - A $183,000 budget for fiscal year 1979-80 for the city was adopted last week in a special hearing. The increase will require a ': mill increase in the tax levy. The new budget represents an approximate 7.5 percent increase over last year's $170,000 budget. eliminating more of the manual budget and accounting ac-counting operations. Separate funds for electricity, elec-tricity, water and sewer utilities will be established and should aid the city in monitoring these areas. Mayor Robinson has asked for a ten cent per month increase in the sewer utility mayor Jim KODmson and the city recorder worked to prepare the budget with the help of Cedar City Manager John Hendrickson. The budget had to be planned to conform with State Legislative Act HB 303 to limit revenue and must use the State Uniform Accounting Ac-counting Procedures.
