Show Kanarraville by Carina Williams Chester and Carma Williams received word of the brith of a new grandson born July 10th at Dixie Medical Center to their daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Ronald Blake. The Blakes have two other children, Joshua and Anisa. The grandparents and Jeremy Williams and Anisa went to Sant Clara Sat. to see the new baby. Maurice and Monta Munford and three sons moved into their new home this past week. Gwen Davis, Bevan and Doris Williams, Candy Sacayanan and three children from Seattle Wash, traveled to Pinto to have a sports in the afternoon, following will be a dutch oven chicken supper. All proceeds go to the ward building fund. A boy, Nathan Armbruster was born July 13 at the WMC to Carrie and Robert Armbruster. The proud ' grandparents are Tony and Judy Gubler and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Armbruster. Little Miss Shelah and Jeremy Gibbs from Arlington Heights, 111. spent a week here with their grandparents Bp. Norman and Carol Murdock. Lional and Thora Davis from Henderson, Nev. spent a few days here visiting relatives and friends. Bp. Norman and Carol Murdock, Jim and Dana cookout with Russell and Ruth Williams and family. Mrs. Agnes Strubble from Cedar City who is recovering from hip surgery is here spending a few weeks with her daughter Jackie Dixon. Mrs. Mabel Williams celebrated her 85th birthday July 10. Her sister Grace McEwan from Cedar City and her daughter and son-in-law, Leona and Jack Dalton from Parowan were here to help celebrate her birthday. Betty Beatty from Norco, Calif, and Peggy Dixon from San Francisco, Calif; spent a couple of days here with their mother Jackie Dixon. Plans are being made for the 24th of July celebration. There will be a dance held with the "Straight Shot Band", July 24th the old time band at sunrise, parade at 10 a.m., program at 10:30, Muraocn ana iamuy, attended at-tended a Lang family reunion in Parowan Canyon Sat. July 14. Gordon and Betty Pace and children Greg and Nancy from Bishop Calif, spent from Sat. through Wed. here with their parents Sherald and Velma Peterson. Peter-son. Arvil and Nola Merrill from Payson spent a wekk here with their sister Vaughn Isom. Dale and Lorraine Cornelius Cor-nelius and three children, Tonya, Vance and Tyler and Lorraine's brother David Stewart . left Tuesday for a backpacking trip into the Uintahs. Mrs. LaDawn Williams spent several days in Provo with her father, Albert Swallow who has been in the hospital seriously ill. |
