Show USU offers confidentiality laws course A course covering the laws that deal with confidentiality will be held through Utah State University Education Center. Confidentiality Laws in the Public Agencies of Utah, Elementary Education 656 or Secondary Secon-dary Education 656. will be taught by Dr. Terrance Hatch. Dr. Hatch is the Assistant Dean of the College of Education at Utah Slate University. The one hour credit course will cover what constitutes permanent records, the kind of information that should be in permanent records, who should have . access to these records, the right of the individual teacher or advisor to keep ' information confidential, and the rights , of students and parents in obtaining . access and control of permanent records. According to Dr. Hatch this course is designed primarily for teachers, advisors and other professions who deal with the public and keep records. Confidentiality Laws will be held Feb. 20 beginning at 5:30 p m and Feb 21 beginning at 8 a m. Both classes will be in Roosevelt.
