Show JOB ANNOUNCEMENT The Ute Indian Housing Authority has an opening for the position of a Maintenance Person. This position is available for full time employment. Applicants must provide the Housing Authority with verification of valid Utah State Drivers License and past driving record for three (3) year period. JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION : Maintenance Person (Permanent) SALARY: Per Salary Schedule; $5.85 to $6.25 hr. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent; general knowledge of electrical repair and plumbing and other basic repair and maintenance of low-rent. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: The Maintenance Person shall perform the following follow-ing duties under the supervision of the Executive Ex-ecutive Director: 1. Perform minor electrical elec-trical repairs to switches and outlets, appliances and circuits. 2. Perform minor plumbing plum-bing work, such as unstopping drains, fixing faucets and repairing leaks. 3. Perform damage repair, such as replacing broken glass, screens and locks. 4. Perform interior and exterior painting. 5. Maintain grounds and perform landscaping. 6. Exterminate pests as assigned. 7. Clean common areas and vacated units. 8. Complete and submit all work orders. 9. Perform preventive maintenance work. 10. Inspect houses and units during move-in, move-out, annual maintenance warranty and other housing inspection. inspec-tion. Complete requisition ofd6fs"arid'other reports' as required. 11. Participate in stand-bv stand-bv emereencv service to provide constant coverage. 12. Assists in the purchasing, pur-chasing, stocking and disbursement of maintenance materials and equipment, and is responsible for the maintenance and storage of materials and equipment. equip-ment. 13.
