Show l " - - : i t , . r- ' ' ; . i I e - . ; . GLENN LeROY LEE Vernal resident succumbs in county hospital Glenn LeRoy Lee, 66, of Vernal died in the Uintah County Hospital Feb. 14, 1981. Born April 16, 1914 in Vernal to William LeRoy and Vinnie Miller Lee. He married Marie Corless, Nov. 22, 1933 in Vernal. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Nov. 22, 1963. Mr. Lee was a construction worker, member of Vernal 5th Ward, a High Priest, former WMIA president and counselor in Vernal 1st and 5th Ward bishoprics. Survivors are his wife of Vernal; six sons, Dennis Lee of Grand Junction, Colo., Arthur Lee of Lakewood, Colo., Morgan Lee and Dale Lee both of Vernal, Larry Lee of Littleton, Colo., and George Lee of Sandy, Utah; 22 grandchildren; mother of Vernal, brothers and sisters, Mrs. Fred (Ella) Feltch of Vernal, Mrs. Norman (Iola) Winn of San Diego, Calif., William M. Lee and Mrs. Mary Alice Patton both of Rangely, Colo., George Lee of Gillette, Wyo., Dr. L. Lynn Lee of Cracow, Poland, Mrs. John (Edna) Poulos and Mrs. Betty Caldwell, both of Salt Lake City and Mrs. James (JoAnn) Mitchell of Santa Rosa, Calif. Funeral services were in the Vernal 5th Ward Chapel and Bishop Roger Allred officiated. The family prayer at the mortuary was by a son, George Lee. At the service, DeArmon Batty played an organ solo. The invocation was by Clifford Corless, a nephew. Bishop Allred gave the obituary and some remarks. Dirk and Sharon Evertson sang "In the Garden." Bryce Caldwell spoke, and Dirk and Sharon Evertson sang "Sometime We'll Understand." Lawrence Fox gave the benediction. DeArmon Batty played the prelude and postlude music. Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park Cemetery, and a son, Arthur Lee, dedicated the grave. Pallbearers were grandsons, Tobin Lee, Robin Lee, Kerry Lee, Todd Lee, Brook Lee and Rick Lee. Honorary pallbearers were grandson? Craig Lee, Brett Lee, Tony Lee, Darrin Lee and Shawn Lee. The Vernal 5th Ward Relief Society was in charge of the luncheon and Dowers. |
