Show PRESIDENT OF Search and Rescue, Gary Maxson, and his wife, Kathy, enjoy the Valentine Search and Rescue dinner. Kathy is the president of the ladies auxiliary, the Searchettes. The Valentine Valen-tine dinner was held at the 7-11 Cafe in Vernal. Searchettes hold Valentine dinner The annual Search and Rescue Valentine dinner was held at the 7-11 Cafe on Feb. 14. Special guest for the evening was Woodey Searle, Ken Stringham arid Mr. Searle discussed the up-coming Harlem Clowns vs. Vernal All-Stars. The event will be held March 5 at Uintah High School. The program is being sponsored by the Search and Rescue unit. The Searchettes held their monthly meeting Feb. 9 at the County Building. During the meeting the annual rummage rum-mage sale and the Valentine dinner were discussed. Vicki Merrill gave a presentation on the teaching of machine embroidery. Each member tried their hand at embroidering. Vicki's co-sponsor for the program was Adreana McDonald. After the program the Searchettes joined their husbands for a training film. The film was presented by Merlin Walker. Each month, two members present a new program and then furnish refreshments refresh-ments for both Searchettes and Search and Rescue members. The State Search and Rescue Association Board Quarterly Meeting will be held at Wendover on Saturday, Feb. 28. The meeting will include a pistol competiton and awards banquet. |
