Show Irene Fretwell Appointed Deputy Treasurer According to Mayor J. V. Mc-Lea Mc-Lea and the city council, who met in regular session Monday night, Mrs. Irene Fretwell was appointed deputy treasurer for Roosevelt City, effective Jan. 20, 1953. All payment due the city, such as sewer fees, water bills, licenses, etc., should now be paid at the office in the city building instead of to' Marvell Neilson's office as heretofore. The mayor stated that the reason rea-son for this change is that it will lead to more efficient city business for all bills to be paid at one office. The public's cooperation co-operation will be appreciated. |
