BROTHER-SON, BROTHER-SON, of Duchesne county has been named to five important committees in the lower house of the state legislature. . . He is a membel of Agriculture, Irrigation, Livestock, Education Educa-tion and Revenue and Taxation. Taxa-tion. . . He is serving his third term. to the All-Church finals in Salt Lake City. According to Cecil "Doc" Jenkins, athletic director for the Roosevelt stake MIA. and E. Floyd Ross, activity counselor, top teams in the M Men and Explorer, basketball program from five stakes will meet here on Feb. 9, 10 and 11 in a regional reg-ional tournament. All games will be played at Union High School. In-as-much as schedules are still being played in all five stakes, names of the teams are not as yet known. However, the five stakes that will meet together are, Denver, Uintah, Roosevelt, Moon Lake and Duchesne. Du-chesne. Not all stakes have an Explorer program in fact only Roosevelt and Uintah will contest con-test for this honor. On Monday night, Feb. 9. the second place Explorer team from Roosevelt stake will meet the first place winner from Uintah Uin-tah at 6 o'clock, and a 7 the Roosevelt winner will meet the Uintah second place team. The winners will meet for the right to enter the big tournament at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The third game on Monday will pit the Duchesne stake and Moon Lake stake M Men winners at 8 o'clock. The Tuesday night schedule vill bring together the top M Vlen teams from Uintah and Roosevelt stakes and the winner Df the Moon Lake - Duchesne Tame on Monday will meet the ?ntry from the Denver stake. Winners of 'these two games vill meet on Wednesday, along Lhe the top Explorer teams in 'he finals.
