Show Madeena Smith Basketball To Be Played Here The basketball teams are meeting at the gym Monday evening eve-ning to organize the teams and make out schedules, under the direction of Roy Adams, the reservation coordinator. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Robb were dinner guests at the home of Elbert Smith, Sunday evening. eve-ning. Those attending Stake Union meeting Sunday at Roosevelt from our ward were Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Robb. Bishop Elling-ford, Elling-ford, Mrs. Mildred Moosman, Mrs. Elsie Twitchell, Mr. and Mrs .Jessie Brough, and Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith. The Farm Creek boys spent Sunday sleigh riding down the mountain. They took their sleighs to the top of the mountains moun-tains in a car, then coasted back down, a distance of five or six miles. Mrs. Elsie Twitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Hoops and Velda Anderton were in Vernal on business, Tuesday. The sixth, seventh and eighth grade in school held a dance, Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley and Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Brough attended the Adult Education school held at Randlett, Friday afternoon. A pink and blue shower was fiiven Friday afternoon at the church house for Mrs. Lela Anderton. An-derton. She received many pretty pret-ty and useful articles. The two Relief Societies met together Wednesday and made two quilts. They also cut blocks for another. |
