Show School fiotes ROOSEVELT ELEMENTARY Mrs. Johnson's 4th grade presented pre-sented the assembly program for the school last Thursday, which was in the form of an operetta, taking place in 1700 and depicting how Wm. Penn made friends with the Indians. Cast of characters was as follows: fol-lows: Peggy Austin, Dearwyn Bowman; Tom Austin, Jim Drollinger;- Sally Austin, Gloria Taaffe; Granny Austin. Sherrie Ann Fjeldsted; Joey Austin, Charles Ray Richens; John, Ray Schelin; Ann, Betty Lou Locke; MasteT Austin, Terry Huxford; Mistress Austin, Margaret Hacking; Hack-ing; Wm. Penn, Gordon Harm-ston; Harm-ston; Richard Jensen, Chief Painted Feather; Periwinkle, John David Andrews; Traveler, Larry Kent Wilkerson: Smiling Eyes, ElDoris Fitzgerald. The remaining students in the class took the parts of Indian Braves, the men in Wm. Penn's party and neighborhood children. chil-dren. Mrs. Axel Anderson assisted Mrs. Johnson with the operetta. Accompaniment for the performance perfor-mance was played by Mrs. Johnson. |
