Show Hit-Run Driver Puts Roosevelt Man In Hospital - David M. Wilkersonf who was injured in a hit-and-run accident Saturday, Jan. 17, was trans-" ferred from the Roosevelt City Hospital, Monday, to a hospital in Salt Lake City for treatment of internal injuries. According to Carl Hacking and Dewey Meriweather, city oolicemen who' investigated the accident, Mr. Wilkerson, with his brother, Clair Wilkerson, and Mel Larsen, was crossing the highway in front of the Frontier Grill Cafe at 11:50 p. m. when the accident occurred. Mr. Wilkerson was hit by a car driven by George J. Neu-neyer. Neu-neyer. about 21. from Lapoint. The driver failed to stop at the time of the accident, but was stopped at a blockade set up by Ivo' Johnson, highway patrol- Inan, a few miles east of Roose- -velt on Highway 40. |
