Show Legion Sponsors Adult Bingo & Teen-Jge Canteen A bingo party for aduts commenced com-menced a series of such events Tuesday night at the Legion Barracks, according to William Murdock, commander of American Amer-ican Legion Post No. 64. The party was a great success, with those participating receiving receiv-ing many valuable prizes. The bingo parties will be held evexv -two weeks on a Tuesday night and the public is cordially invited in-vited to attend. Prizes will be awarded on a point system basis, bas-is, with points accumulating each week, if the winner wishes, affording a grand prize after so many wins, $500 worth of nrizes are' on hand at .present for the bingo table. Next bingo night is scheduled sched-uled for Tuesday, Feb. 10. The Legion is also conducting a' 'Teen-Age Canteen every Saturday Sat-urday night at 8:30 p.m. for the young people of the community. Dancing, ping-pong and bingo will serve as entertainment, and refreshments will be sold. The Canteen will be properly supervised super-vised by members of the Legion, who cordially invite all young people of this area to participate in some good, clean fun. |
