Show Mrs. Elsie Bird MIA Holds Board Meeting Monday M.I.A. Ward Board meeting was held Monday evening at the church house, with twelve officers of-ficers and teachers present. Mrs. Charlie Bird visited Wednesday Wed-nesday with Mr. and Mrs. Emery Em-ery Neilson in Myton. Mr. Neil-son Neil-son is recovering from a recent illness. Mrs. Beverly Uresk and son, Roland, and Mrs. Alberta Smith, of Myton, visited Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert. Mrs. Max Mullins and son. ' Kenneth, spent a few days in Roosevelt awaiting her husband's hus-band's return from Korea to spend a fifteen day leave before be-fore returning to San Diego, Calif. Max is getting acquainted with his son, Kenneth. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird, Sunday, Sun-day, were Mr. and Mrs. John Zirker and son, Ronald, of Ar-I Ar-I cadia, and Mrs. Lurrine Duncan Dun-can and children, of Neola. Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Richens are rejoicing over the arrival ol a baby daughter, born Jan. 10 at the Roosevelt hospital. Mrs. Max Ross was taken to the Roosevelt hospital, Wednesday, Wednes-day, where she was operated on for appendicitis. She is reported as getting along as well as can be expected. Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Johan-sen Johan-sen and children, of Roosevelt, visited Sunday at the home of Mrs. Johansen's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Johnson. Mrs. Art Moon, of Salt Lake City, is visiting and getting acquainted ac-quainted with her new granddaughter grand-daughter at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arlo RicSens. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gil: bert entertained at a family dinner. Sunday. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilbert and family, Mr. and Mrs. Max Mullins Mul-lins and son, Rulon, Mildred and Martha Gilbert. Pauline Larsen and Merlynn Ross came in from Provo to spend the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milt Larsen Lar-sen and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross. Mrs. Arlo Richens returned from the hospital Thursday with her new daughter. Evan Lusty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Lusty, was taken to Roosevelt, Sunday, where he re. ceived medical treatment. Stanley Keller is getting around on crutches while he is recovering from a sprained ankle, an-kle, received while playing basketball bas-ketball at school. Mrs. Clair Duncan and children, chil-dren, of Neola, and Miss Delaine Bird, of Roosevelt, spent Sunday visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. |
