Show DUP Selects New Officers The Daughters of the Pioneers of the Eleanor E. Caldwell camp meeting way held at the home of Ardith Huber on Thursday. The election of the camp officers was held with Mae Sprouse as captain; Eva Christensen and Norma Burton as first and second sec-ond vice-presidents: Fern Ny-berg, Ny-berg, secretary - treasurer; and Lillie Bigelow, class leader. A delicious plate lunch was served by Ardith Huber, Theo Bodily and Eva Christensen. Mack McNickle left Saturday for Englewood, Colo, to remain the rest of the winter to visit relatives there. Robert Steele and family, of Rangely, Colo., visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hayden Foster, during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Young are visiting in Seattle. Wash, with relatives. David Jenkins has purchased the Fritz Burton ranch on Moc-by Moc-by mountain from Ray Gardner. Mrs. Sybil Gagon entertained it a birthday partv for her daughter, Shirleen, last Friday. Games were played and ice cream and cake served to a large crowd. Mr. and Mrs. Rile Blackburn and Virgil Rasmussen attended the funeral of Mr. Blackburn's sister in Salt Lake City on Sat urday. Mrs-. Dorothy Thompson accompanied them to receive medical care. There has been a real epidemic epidem-ic of flu in Lapoint. Twenty-two Twenty-two children were out of school on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Perry and children, of Draggerton, . visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow, and oher relatives rel-atives over the weekend. Mrs. Jerry Harrison entertained enter-tained at a birthday party for her daughter, Ann's fifth birthday birth-day on Sunday. Games were played and lunch served to a group of children. |
