Show BPW Club Starts Funds For Swimming Pool Bathing beauties in all types of regalia from the ?ay nineties to the present time stole the show at the B.P.W. meeting Monday night, when they presented pre-sented a clever dance skit to impress the club members of the i importance and need for a swimming pool in Roosevelt. I Preceding the dance number I was a vocal solo "Wishing Won't Make It So," by Ann Buchanan, accompanied by Ellen Rawlings. Members of the dance team were were Lenore Hutchings, Vola Hancock, Virgie Murphy. Bette Eldredge and Wanda Riggle. Songs. especially for the swimming pool project, were composed and led by Ida Harrison, Harri-son, with all members partici-j pating. I Blanche Murphy, president, j conducted a short business meeting meet-ing and introduced the finance chairman, Midge Memmott, who : was in charge of program acti-: vity for the rest of the evening. I Theme of the program centered j around a swimming pool idea. : with a miniature pool and bath-; ing beauties forming the centerpiece cen-terpiece and wishing wells at either end. Bingo was played for entertainment, w,ith all profits pro-fits from the game going into : the wishing wells, starting the j fund for the swimming pool project. pro-ject.
