Show Randlett By Mrs. ZHpha Wall Relief Society Completes Quilt Relief Society work meeting was held Tuesday. Lunch was served to a large crowd and a quilt was quilted for the Relief Society welfare. Sacrament meeting, Sunday was under the direction of the Genealogical committee. Jess Jensen, Herbert Harris and Ralph Taylor were the speakers. A number of little friends were guests of Miss Shirley Pickup, it being a surprise birthday party, on Jan. 6th. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Brought, of Whiterocks; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley, also of White-rocks, White-rocks, and James E. Bacon, of Roosevelt, attended an Indian educational meeting here Friday. Fri-day. Mrs. Gladys Jarman has been working at the Avalon School unch kitchen while Austin War-ile War-ile has been ill with the flu Mr. and Mrs. Carl Holley, of Roosevelt, were visitors here Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Coston, of Mterra; Mr. and Mrs. William Young and family and Mr. and Mrs. James Coston, of Vernal, were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. LRue Pickup. Sunday. Loretta, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Coston. spent the weekend there. Mrs. Cloe Brough and daughter, daugh-ter, Sandra, visited last week with her mother in Salt Lake. Mrs. Beverley Brough entertained enter-tained a number of friends Tuesday Tues-day evening in honor ef her husband's birthday. Carl Moore has returned to his home here after spending a week in Clearfield. Mr. and Mrs. William Mann and Mrs. Gary Stewart, of San Francisco, Calif., were dinner euests of Mr. and Mrs. John Young, Monday evening. Bryon and Wayne Wahlquist. of Idaho Falls, visited friends here Wednesday. Bryan has just returned from an L.D.S. mission in Sweden, and Wayne is in the armed forces. Mrs. Schaefermeyer and Mrs. Timothy, of the Primary stake board, visited Primary here Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Stephen Abbott returned from Salt Lake, where she has been for medical care. Lawrence Wall, Jr. and family fam-ily went to Provo, Friday, to attend the funeral of Edmond King, Mrs. Wall's uncle. Harold Dudley is in Denver visiting his mother and other members of his family. |
