Show , two Wards Join Tuesday night Montwel was invited to Neola for Mutual. A show was shown on the history of the Book of Mormon, after which Montwel put on the dances that were used for their Gold and Green Ball. Among those from here who attended Union meeting, Sunday at Roosevelt were, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mower. Mrs. Reita Hamblin, Mrs. Ila Vee Larsen, Mrs. Vervil Blanchard. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Fenn, Elmer Larsen Lar-sen and Howard Crapo. Speakers at Sacrament meeting, meet-ing, Sunday were, Dawn Pace, Mrs. Minnie Crapo, Mrs. Vervil Blanchard and Melvin Mower. Monday night the Explorers played Neola at Roosevelt, loosing loos-ing the game by a score of 54 to 26. Among those attending the Roosevelt Gold and Green Ball Saturday night were Mr. and Mrs. Max Nelson, Sharon Shaw, Lester Thompson, Karen Nelson, Nel-son, Wayne, Enid and Inez Brown and Larry and Randy Nelson. Last Monday, the 12th, Bishoo James Hamblin and his counselors, counse-lors, Howard Crapo and Melvin Mower, spent the day at the church house, where the people came and settled their tithing. The Mutual is planning a polio dance to be held February 3rd, to which everyone is invited. |
