Show Chicago Quotations CHICAGO. Dec. 11 Corn prices hardened a little today, influenced by reports that little actual relief from car scarcity had yet been witnessed. The market was virtually bare of offerings. of-ferings. Buying, however, was not of an aggressive sort, traders showing a disposition to hold off pending receipt of the government's crop report. Open- ; ing prices, which ranged from the same as yesterday's finish to 1-4 cent off, with January $1.19 1-4 and May $1-18 to 1.18 1-S, were followed by a slight advance all around. Scantiness of arrivals gave firmness to oats. Business, however, lacked volume. f Provisions developed strength in sympathy with grain. There was no pressure to sell. CHICAGO QUOTATIONS Open. High.
