Show Boys Crowd Y. M. C. A. Build- H ing to Hear Her Relate Experiences. Quotes in Talk "If Things Are 1 Not Cheerful, Folks Must Be." WITH THE AMERICAN ARMY IN FRANCE, Monday, Dec. 10. (By the Associated Press) Mrs. August Bel-mont Bel-mont of New York won the applause of several hundred soldiers who crowded the Y. M. C. A. building in the Amrei-can Amrei-can field headquarters towns to hear her relate her experiences whilo visit-ing visit-ing the soldiers near tho British ana French fronts. She urged the soldiers to carry the American fighting spirit throughout the war. The automobile in which Mrs. Bel-mont Bel-mont was traveling was several hours behind its schedulo in arriving at 1 headquarters. Instead of stopping for dinner, Mrs. Belmont went directly to the building where the soldiers had been wailing patiently.
