Show EXPENSE HUNTS OF CSIITES ABE FILED All the successful candidates at the last city election have filed their expense ex-pense accounts within the city recorder's record-er's office. Mayor-elect T. S. Browning indicated indicat-ed that he was a campaigner of tho glad-hand variety and compiled a total of $235.19. That amount however, was not expended by the Incoming mayor in the usual method of tho politician. The list shows that it was largely spent for advertising in newspapers, printing posters and maintaining a down-town headquartors. Judge George S. Barker, who leacl the ticket and went into office probably with tho record majority In the history of Utah municipal elections, led for economy. He didn't expend a single sou markee not a solitary simoleon. His expense account has "None" written on the total line. While it is reasonably certain that the court established a precedent for municipal election majorities, ma-jorities, its a certainty he, at least tied the smallest expense account ever filed by a candidate. Zero is tho lowest. Commissioner Chris Flygare. successful suc-cessful candidate for re-election, and City Auditor Arthur Larson, even more successful, reckoned in majorities, expended ex-pended "normal amounts."
