Browning of 473 Twenty-seventh street, last night, telling of the safe arrival in France of their son, Corporal Frank Browning, and his companion, Sergeant Will Stophens. Sergeant Stephens Is a son of Sol Stephens of Ogden. The two Ogden young men are aviators in the signal service and embarked em-barked for tho battle front a short time ago, nothing being announced, however, on their departure. The cablegram is the first word received since their departure. Both young men joined early In the summer and got into the aviation section sec-tion of the signal corps. They were stationed at an instruction school in the middle west for time and finally for transfer orders. They are among the very first Ogden men to get into active aviation service at the front. They are assigned to the 102nd aero squadron. |
