Show 'Oak Ridge Boys' scheduled at SUSC $2.50 for children. The Oak Ridge Boys have had songs written for them by such For some good hand clapping, foot stomping blue grass, rock and gospel music, join Columbia Recording Artists' Oak Ridge Boys March 15 at Southern Utah State College. They are currently touring the Soviet Union with country and western singer Roy Clark as one of ten performing arts groups which will visit Russia under a current three-year U.S.-U.S.S.R. cultural exchange agreement. The group will perform at the SUSC. auditorium beginning at 8:15 pm. Advance tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for children under 12. Tickets bought at the door will be $3.50 for adults and well known artists as Kris Kristofferson, Elvis Presley and Jonny Cash and have performed with Messrs. Presley and Cash, Prior to the Soviet Union trip the Oaks and Mr. Clark concluded con-cluded a 16 day headline engagement at the Frontier Motel in Las Vegas. The Soviet tour is sponsored by the Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Depar-temtn Depar-temtn of State. Oak Ridge engagements have been staged in 5,000 and 6,000 seat auditoriums and have been sold out. They have performed in Sweden and appeared in command com-mand performance before the Queen of England. They have also appeared for Johnny Carson, Car-son, Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas and Hee Haw television shows. The Oak Ridge pianist has recently been named the "Best Instrumentalist of the Year" by the International Gospel Music Association.
