Presented with honors in the Poetry Contest held at Cedar High School are, left to right, Steven Hunter, Freedom Week Winners named in Poetry Contest second place winner Karla Esplin for "Pro Patria." According to Steven Hunter,' Bicentennial chairman for Cedar High School, the prize-winning poems and also the prize-winning art will be on display at the State Bank of Southern Utah this week for the enjoyment of all interested in-terested townspeople. The Bicentennial Poetry ' Contest sponsored by the Southern Utah Poetry Society during Americanism Week at Cedar High School, resulted in the awarding of two cash prizes to talented students. Society president Jacquelin Griffin presented cash awards to first place winner Joe Hahne for his poem, "Forefathers." and to |
