The recipe comes from Mrs. Peggy Walker, via Mrs. Beverlce Neilson. Feather Whipped Cream Cake l'a cup cake flour 1 cup sugar 3 tsp. salt Mt (about 4) egg whites 1 cup heavy cream Mi tsp black walnut flavoring 'i cuo walnuts. Sift dry Ingredients three times. Beat egg whites stiff and add flavoring. Whip cream Fold sifted dry ingredients gradually into whipped cream and egg whites. Do not beat or stir. Gently pour into a cake pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes in a 350 1 degree oven. Frost with whipped cream or favorite frosting. |
