Show NEW HARMONY NEWS BY Mrs. Marva D. Prince Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Prince were Mrs. Prince's (Dorothy) parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Densley. The Densleys are from Midvale, Utah. Mr, and Mrs. Mitchell Lunt of Cedar City visited in town last week. Mrs. Lunt is the former Maureen Prince of New Harmony. Har-mony. Reed and Laura Prince spent last Saturday in New Harmony. The Prince's are from New Harmony, but they moved to Nevada for the winter months, i Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Schmutz are in Salt Lake City where Eldon has undergone surgery. This writer would like to wish Eldon the very best, and let him know that his friends from New Harmony are thinking about I him. We hope he is soon on the road to recovery. Mr. Richard McBride is visiting with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Prisbrey. Verl and Viola Kelsey enjoyed a visit from their daughter, Verlene and some of her friends. Verleneand the girls stayed over night in New Harmony and theni they traveled on to Las Vegas, before returning back to Salt Lake. Mr. Afton Grant of Murray spent a few days last week visiting with friends and relatives in New Harmony. Afton I is orginally from New Harmony, ! and he is in the process of moving i back here. j Mr. Robert Groke and Miss ' Deanna Prince traveled to St. George Friday afternoon. They spent some time at the temple with their Branch from Southern Utah State College, and then they traveled on to Rockville to visit with Bob's family. Mrs. Mervin Prince and sons, Robert and Dale, visited in Cedar with Mrs. Robert LeFevre and family.' Mr. and Mrs. Keith Neilson and their daughter, Valery, visited with Kieth's mother, Aunt Emma Neilson. One day last week, Mrs. Donna Neilson and family and Mrs. Emma Neilson visted in St. George with Emma's grand-: daughter and family. Sunday afternoon guests of the Lowell Prince family were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Piatt and children of Cedar City. - Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Grant, Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince, and son, Gary, and Mrs. Dean Hall traveled to Logandale, Nev. to visit with Reed and Laura Prince. Reed and Vivian both talked in the Logandale Ward Sacrament Meeting. After church the group returned to Reed's place for an afternoon of visiting. Gishop and Mrs. Cannon Huntsman attended the funeral service of Mr. Israel Hiram Lamb of St. George. Mr. Lamb died Feb. 11, 1976 of causes incident in-cident to age. Funeral services were held Sautuday, Feb. 14, 1976 in St. George. He was 91 years old. Lowell Prince enjoyed a party with other employees of Southwest South-west Dist.Company. The group went to Cedar Mountain where they rode snowmobiles and then enjoyed an evening of fun' anf food. Speakers at New Harmony Ward Sacrament Meeting this past week were Brother Harl Judd of the Cedar West Stake High Council and Elders Elton Bingham and Marvin Lamond. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Whitehead returned back to their home in Henderson, Nev. after i spending a few days with their son, Doyle Whitehead. , Mrs. Bradley Hunt of St. George spent the night with her husband's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Prince. Friday Mrs. Hunt and the Princes's traveled to St. George. Mrs. Hunt is from St. George, but her and Brad . are in the process of moving to California. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince and Vivian's sister, Mrs. Dean Hall traveled to Salt Lake Friday. Mrs. Prince went up for medical reasons and Mrs. Hall will be visiting with her son and family. Mr. Hall has been in Salt Lake for the past two weeks. He will bring his wife home at a later date. The Prince's returned , home Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Woolsey of , Indian Springs Nev. visited 'in , New Harmony this week with Joan's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Pace. Mrs. Vickie LeFevre and children vistited with Vickie's mom and dad, Bishop and Mrs. Cannon Huntsman one day this week. ' Mrs. Anthon Pace traveled to St. George Thursday to attend a special program there. She then spent the night with her mother. |
