In the relays, the Ranis placed very well as the sprinn relay, unU'aten by 1A schools this year. They placed first with a team of David Evans, Kim Bess, Mike Robinson, and Mike Evans. The Medley relay with a team of David Evans, Richard Burton, Scott Freeborn, and Dan Robinson placed second behind North Sevier. The mile relay took on a tough unbeaten team from North Sevier and narrcwly missed defeating the Wolves when Mike Robiason ran a 51.8 anchor leg. Other members of the mile relay team were Scott Freeborn, Richard Burton and Kim Bess. PAROWAN. The Parowan Rams track team traveled to Kanab Thursday for the annual Kanab Boosters Invitational. Ten of the thirteen Region H teams, plus Fredonia, Arizona, were at the meet. After the day's events were over, the Rams had scored 111 points to narrowly miss taking home the trophy for the meet. North Sevier, who has consistently dominated the track and field scene, scored 131 points to win the meet. Highlights for the Rams were as follows: Mike Robiason placed first in Die long jump with a leap of 20' 'V and first in the 440 yard dash with a 53.5. Blair Bentley was a double winner also, with a victory in the mile and two mile. The Rams looked good in the two mile event, placing five of the top six runners. Dean Roberts finished in a tie at the tape, but the judges awarded Blair the first place.
