Show Parowan Stake Genealogy Seminar PAROWAN - On April 22, 1978, the Parowan Utah Stake will host a Genealogy Seminar for the Cedar Region Stakes. The Seminar will be held in the Parowan First-Second Ward Building (87 West Center) in Parowan. Starting time will be 8:30 a.m. with registration and continue until 4 p.m. Kip Sperry, Genealogy Research Specialist from Salt Lake City, who works for the LDS Church Genealogy Department and also teaches research classes for BYU, will, be at the Seminar to explain the latest happenings in Genealogical Research. The new emphasis on the four generation sheets, name retrevial, family organization; as well as teach basic and intermediate in-termediate Interest Group Sessions on United States and Canada Research, will all be discussed. . A registration fee of $3.00 per person will be charged. This will cover the cost lunch which will be furnished and to pay for the Research Specialist as well as cost for materials, etc., that will be encured in hosting the Seminar.
