Show Savings Bond Sales Set New Records Utahns invested more of their savings in U. S. Savings Bonds in February and the first two months of 1967 than in any similar period since World War II, according to sales figures released by Francis W. Betenson, manager, First Security Bank, and Iron County bonds chairman. February sales for the state amounted to $2,147,977 and brought the two-month total to 4.6 million, up 17 percent over 1966. Betenson reported that Iron County's share of the February Feb-ruary sales was $2,760, bringing bring-ing the two-month total to $10,345. |
