Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING Virginia Webster Out-of-town guests who arrived ar-rived for the wedding festivities of Claudette Smith and Danny Matheson Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Clayton and family, Mrs. Mont Hunter, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ed (Louise) Brinderson Brinder-son and Robbin Brinderson, Mrs. Eugene (Marie) LaBorde, Mr. and Mrs. William Cornu, Pomona, Pomo-na, Calif.; Dr. and Mrs. Donald Long and family, Las Vegas, Nev. Other visitors in town for the week end nuptials were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Macfarlane, Mrs. Rebecca Matheson, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rollins, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Barton, Jay Macfailane, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Lund, Parowan and Mr. and Mrs. Roland Yardley, Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. George Haslam spent Saturday and Sunday in Murray and Salt Lake City. They were guests of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James R. Wood. Last week, the Haslams had Mr. Haslam's sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Verlene O. Roper, of Tennessee visiting with them. Mrs. Roper arrived in Utah for the weddings of her daughters, Beatrice and Alice Olds. While she was In Cedar City, she visited visit-ed Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Haslam and Mr. and Mrs. Melburn Ash-down. Ash-down. Visitors at the B. Glen Kenney residence this past week have been Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kenney and their two sons of Arizona. Salt Lake Visitors here have been Mr. and Mrs. Willis Robinson Robin-son and family. The Robinsons were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elsworth Flanigan. They also visited with relatives in Parowan. Former Cedar City residents, Mr. and Mrs. Frant Esplin were in southern Utah a week ago. While here they were guests of Mrs. Dick Leigh. Mrs. Leigh returned re-turned with the Esplins to Salt Lake City where she will visit with her daughters for several weeks. |
