Show Clint Warby Receives German Mission Call A farewell testimonial will be held Sunday evening at 6:30 In the Cedar Sixth Ward chapel in honor of Clint Warby who lias been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Warby, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Warby of Cedar City, has been called to serve In the Bavarian Ba-varian Mission In southern Germany. Ger-many. He will enter the mission home in Salt Lake City on Monday, Mon-day, June 29 for a week's training train-ing prior to leaving for the field. Friends and relatives are Invited In-vited to attend the testimonial Sunday. Speaker at the event will be Boyd Beagley, LDS Seminary principal, with remarks by Sam Gentry, the missionary's parents and a response by Elder Warby. The Cedar Sixth Ward choir will sing and a vocal solo, "I'll Walk with God," will be rendered render-ed by Ilene Warby. Warby is a graduate of the Cedar City High School where he was active in drama, was a member of the tennis team, the band, and chorus; a member of the yearbook staff and speech. He has attended the College of Southern Utah for the past two quarters where he was active in drama and as member of the band. Currently he is attended National Na-tional Guard Camp as a member of the Cedar City unit. He has completed a six month active duty tour with basic training a Fort Ord, Calif., and four months at Fort Sill, Okla. Warby also graduated from four years of LDS Seminary study stu-dy and has attended Institute while a students at CSU. j CUNT WARBY 1 I |
