Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS Mrs. De Wilcken Mr. and Mrs. J. Stanford Jones left Tuesday to take their daughter, daugh-ter, Trudi, to Salt Lake City where she will enroll in the LDS Business College. Worth Grimshaw is now at home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Grimshaw. He has been attending the University of Utah and will be home for the summer months. Recently a party was held at the home of Mrs. Helen Jones for all of the employees of the CSU Cafeteria, the cafeteria employs some townspeople as well as students as part-time help. Games were played and refreshments refresh-ments served. The "Rose Prom" was held in the Ward Recreational Hall last Friday night, June 5. This is the dance of the year and was under the direction of the Mia Maids and Explorers of the ward. The Enoch Ward Orchestra provided the music and refreshments were served. Congratulations should r be given to the Mia Maids and ' Explorers for their decorations and for a very success." dance. They worked hard making it a g success. s The closing social for the Re- lief Society was held last Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. This was for all Relief Society members and their 1 partners. A very nice film put out by the General Board was shown and Wayne Grimshaw . showed some of his slides taken i while on his mission In Germany. Germa-ny. Refreshments were served and everyone had a good time. Randy Grimshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Grimshaw, anil Keith Maxwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis C. Maxmell, were involved in-volved in an automobile accident acci-dent Sunday morning in front of the Enoch Ward meeting house about 9:20 a. m. Randy had to be taken to the hospital and had twelve stitches over one eye. Fortunately nobody else involved in-volved was injured. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Ashton Smith visited here with relatives and friends on Saturday and Sunday. They came for the Jones Reunion which was held in Cedar City Saturday. Bp. Smith is a former Bishop of the Enoch Ward. |
