Show Girls' Recreation Program Well Under Way The summer recreation program pro-gram for girls got underway this past week with a series of activities acti-vities including tennis, folk dance and jump rope, girls swimming swim-ming lessons, charm class, aquatics, aqua-tics, softball, rhythm and arts, modern dance, tap dance and twirling. A complete schedule of activities, activi-ties, times and locations were listed as follows: Tennis (Beginning) MWF, 9:00 to 10:00, College Courts. Tennis (Advanced) T Th, 9:00 to 10:00, College Courts. Folk Dance and Jump Rope M F, 10:00 to 11:00 Old High School Gym. Girls Swimming lessons T Th, 10:00 to 12:00, Pool. Charm Class (ages 12 up) W 10:00 to 11:00, Old High School Gym. Aquf.tics Club Daily, 1:00 to 2:00, Pool. Softball (ages 8 to 12) MWF, 2:00 to 3:00, baseball park. Softball (ages 13 up) MWF, 3:00 to 4:00, baseball park. Rythm and Arts (ages 4 to 9) T Th, 2:00 to 3:00, Old High School Gym. Modern Dance MWF, 2:00 to 3:00, Old High School Gym. Tap Dance MTTh, 3:00-4:00, Old High School Gym. Twirling (beginning) TTh, 4:00 to 5:00, Old High School Gym. Twirling (advanced) TTh, 5:00 to 6:00, Old High School Gym. The Acquatics Club, it was pointed out, It for those girls from ages 12 and up or by special spe-cial permission, who already have the basic skills of swimming swim-ming and are interested in putting put-ting on a water show. |
