Show I NEWS NOTES FROM SUMMIT Mrs. Donna Davenport The newly organized 4-H Club 'The Happy Mixers" have as their leaders Mrs. Pauline Hulet and Mrs. Daisy Prince. The officers of-ficers of the club are: president, Mark Dalley; vice president, Keith Lawrence! secretary, Re-nee Re-nee Prince; reporter, Diane Hulet; Hu-let; song leader, Richard Evans, and games, Dennis Farrow. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Lawrence have enjoyed visits from most of their family this past week. Their daughter and family, the Max Reeses, returned to their home in Kaysville Tuesday after a five-day stay. While here they took Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence to Zion National Park where they spent a most enjoyable day together. to-gether. Dr. and Mrs. Aubrey W. Lawrence Law-rence and daughters, Kathy, Carol Ca-rol Ann and Barbara Jean, arrived ar-rived here early last week from their home in Gunnison, Colo., for several days' visit before going go-ing on Logan to pick up their daughter, Lynda, who just completed com-pleted her sophomore year at U. S. U. They were c'Jests of a sister, Mrs. Jack Farrow and family fa-mily while here. Mrs. Norton B. James and son, Benny, of Hunter arrived here Tuesday to spend the remainder of the week with her parents and other family members. The family were all together at the Alma Lawrence home for one evening for visiting and to enjoy the lovely singing voice of Barbara Jean Lawrence and the outstanding violin playing of Benny James, who was accompanied accom-panied on the piano by his mother. mo-ther. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Lawrence Law-rence served delicious refreshments refresh-ments to the large group. Mr. End Mrs. Otto Pulley have enjoyed visits from Mr. Dalley's brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Stanley J. Dalley of Provo, and a sister, Mrs. Amy Green, this past week end. Mrs. Green remained for an overnight stay. Mr. and Mrs. Dee El Stapley and children spent the week end visiting in Murray with Norma's mother, Mrs. Viola Nielsen arid other family members. Dee El's mother accompanied them to spend the week end with her husband, Earl Stapley, who is employed in Salt Lake City at the present time. Mrs. Hulda Peterson traveled to Las Vegas, Nev., last week to attend the high school graduation gradua-tion of her granddaughter, Glen-na Glen-na Williamson. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Walker left Monday morning for a week's! vacation. They will visit with a brother, Jay Walker, and family and Mrs. Walker's sister and brother-in-law, the Jack Berry's, in Salt Lake City and with Mrs. Walker's brother, Douglas Farrow Far-row and family In Idaho Falls. Miss Myra Richards is visiting with her uncle, Lucius Dean Richards and family in Las Vegas Ve-gas at the present time. Miss Sheral Davenport and Kathleen Dalley were in Parowan Paro-wan Sunday afternoon to attend a missionary testimonial for Elder El-der Jay Graff. Mrs. Ann Madsen is in Milford tending her grandchildren while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Smith are on vacation. Col. Frank Dalley and Robert Walker are at Camp Williams for the National Guard encampment. encamp-ment. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hulet are staying here with their daughter and family, the Bertrand Dalley's while Mr. Hulet is convalescing from recent surgery. The Bertrand Dalleys enjoyed a visit from Mr. Dalley's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Cowdell and Hal of Los Angeles, Calif., and the Cowdell's daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Linda and Grant Holdsworth and two little boys of Lehi over the Memorial Day week end. Sunday visitors , at the Dalley home were Mr. and Mrs. Clair Huiet and daughters, Carla and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Orton and son of Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Don White of Mesquite, Nev., visited heic on Sunday. |
