Show Red Hill Wranglers Set Amateur Rodeo, RaceMeetIuly3-4 The Red Hill Wranglers, Parowan Paro-wan horsemen's club have plans under way for this year's July 4 Race Meet and Amateur Rodeo, it is announced by the club publicity pub-licity chairman, Mrs. Norman Evans. Mrs. Evans announces that this year a two day meet is being set up, with a day of racing only on Friday, July 3, and the big annual July 4 show of both racing rac-ing and rodeo events in Saturday, Satur-day, July 4. Post time for each day's program pro-gram will be 2 p. m. at the improved im-proved Parowan City race track and rodeo grounds, which now has ample seating space for over 1000 people, with ample parking area for cars. The track now has a one quarter mile straightaway for the shorter races. Mrs. Evans states the rodeo contestants will register for the riding events between the hours of 10 a. m. and 1 p. m. on July 4 and these will include all rodeo ro-deo events, calf roping, bull and brone riding, bulldoggin.'i, elf. with s'ibstaiiual purses for all events. The program will also include a full card of horse racing. |
