Show HAPPENINGS IN PARAG0NAH By Nora Lund Quite a number of people from here attended the delightful MIA program and Bride's party under the direction of Mrs. Golda Guy-mon, Guy-mon, Stake Junior Gleaner Leader, Lead-er, Saturday evening in Parowan. ' Mrs. Hilma Lamoreaux, Paragon-ah Paragon-ah leader, assisted with the fashion fash-ion showing of wedding dresses popular in the different years. Those from here modeling were: Cleo Edwards, Rayma Thornton, Jeanine Manzlone and Anette Dalton. Rose Ann Barton, Sarah and Hazen Jean Robinson sang a trio on the program. Mrs. Gwen Jones' accompanied her brother-in-law and sister, Major and Mrs. Alvin Kieffer of Salt Lake City and her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Englestead of St. George, to California last week. The highlight of the trip was the attendance at the first session in the beautiful Los An- geles L D S Temple. The Kleffers are being transferred to Biloxi. Miss., to continue Mapor Kleffer's durties with the Air Force. Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Wade and children of Cedar City were in town Saturday visiting with Mrs. Wade's father, H. B. Robinson, and brothers Revere and Victor and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thornton and family were pleased to have their son and brother, Gerry, j spend the week end with them from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Walker and sons, Mrs. Eda Thornton, Mrs. Eliza Owens, and Miss Rayma Thornton Thorn-ton were here from Cedar City Sunday to a family dinner in honor of Earl Thornton's birthday. birth-day. Visitors at the Wilson Lund home were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Armhurst of Pilger, Neb., Mrs. Jane Patterson, Miss Lola Lund, Rex Maxwell of Cedar City, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Barton of Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Mario Stones and Mrs. Milo Stones and their children chil-dren of Cedar City, spent Sunday Sun-day here with Mr. and Mrs. Ama-sa Ama-sa Stones. The accordian trio, Kenneth Topham, Duane Lamoreaux and lleber Lund were on the program Friday eveniag in Parowan, honoring hon-oring Mrs. Luella Dalton, Utah Mother of the year, prior to her leaving for New York City. Two of our talented music students stu-dents of the Parowan High School are traveling with the school's exchange assembly program pro-gram this season. Robin Lamoreaux Lamor-eaux is featured as a vocal soloist, solo-ist, and Heber Lund with his accordion. Mrs. Sarah R. Stones and Mrs. Ethel Robb returned Monday evening from Idaho Fajls, Idaho where they have spent some time visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Martin Mar-tin Robinson. The Paragonah Ward MIA was favored to have the entire YW-MIA YW-MIA stake board in attendance at Mutual Tuesday evening. Cecil Barton took his parents and sister to the city, returning Monday evening. Mrs. Bertha Topham and son LaNell returned home Sunday from a delightful trip to Missou-i ri where they went to be in at-1 tendance at the Golden Wedding celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Berry, parents of her son-in-law, Ray Berry of Cedar City, with whom they traveled. Brein-holt Brein-holt and daughter Patricia of Salt Lake City, spent the week end here with Maxlne's parents. The group toured Zlon National Park and visited relatives in To-querville. To-querville. Mrs. Chester Robinson spent few days in the Iron County hospital hos-pital for treatment, returning to her home Monday.
