Show BPW Club Committee Presents Law Proposal Program Gwen Beal, legislative committee commit-tee chairman, with her commit-tee commit-tee members Louise Corry and Pauline Nelson, presented a very interesting program at the regular regu-lar meeting of the Business and Professional Women's club on Wednesday, April 25. Material was sent out from the state officers, to be discussed and voted upon for presentation at the state convention In June. This had to do with several Jaws which are not on the Utah State agenda, such as narcotics, pure food and drugs, labeling law, coroners Jury. Attorney Pat Fenton discussed the legal aspects of the law, and committee members conducted a diaruaitlnn of much phaa. Th rest of the evening was throwti open tor discussion by the club. Following discussion the club resolved to send to the legislature legis-lature recommendations regarding regard-ing narcotics but the group felt that further study on other subjects sub-jects must be made. Musical enertalnment for the program was furnished by two young students of Mrs. Carlos Taylor. Linda BaVard sang "I if-tie if-tie Ladv Make Believe," nd Fu-ene Fu-ene Dallev 7, sang "A Little Pit of Heaven." Announcement was made by Lillian Lunt, chairman of the BPW Club Health and Safety committee that on May 9 that committee would furnish the profrram.
