Actually Christensen is one of the fastest men in the United States and his record time at the BYU Invitational last week of .09.6 seconds in the 100 yard 'dash qnd .21.5 seconds in the '220 yard dash, are marks that I will undoubtedly remain In the books for a number of years. It goes without saying that Christensen will establish a new mark in these two events at the ! ICAC meet this year. Truly he is 'one of the fastest men ever pro-'duced pro-'duced In the state and his ap-! ap-! pearance at the C S U meer will be one of the top events. Another record setter in the BYU Invitational from the CSU ' campus will also be on hand. He is the ever popular, good nat-ured, nat-ured, Kenneth Benson, called by his teammates by one of two names, either, "Tiny" or "Ounce." Benson established a BYU Invita. tional record of 45 feet 5 inches In the shot put. It erased the previous mark of 45'2" in that event. At BYU Benson's closest rivaj was Roger Brown of Mesa with a put of just over 37 feet. Benson was a dual winner at the BYU meet posting a first place in, the discus event as well. Ben-.
