Show Utah Peace Officers Convention Committees Named Committee chairman for the Thirty-Fourth Annual Convention Conven-tion of the Utah Peace Officers Association to be hejd in Cedar City on June 22 and 23, have been announced by Cedar City Police Chief Anton H. Lambert, general convention chairman. Assisting As-sisting Chief Lambert as co-chairman will be Arthur Nelson, In County Sheriff. Stan Davis, member of the city police force and who will serve as housing chairman, has already al-ready made a survey of all rooms that will be available during the convention period, and has circulated cir-culated registration information to police officers throughout the state, Paul Woodard, another police force member is acting as Mr. Davis' assistant. Other committee chairmen announced an-nounced are as follows: Registration, Registra-tion, Whitney Jensen; target range, Sheriffs Deputy Charles Wells; publicity, Klien Rollo;l transportation, Kent Hoyt; Auxiliary Aux-iliary activities, lone Lambert; breakfasts' and Juncheons, Mayo By bee; barbecue. Milt Jolley; banquet. Jack Miller; liaison Robert Reid. Details of the program for the two-day convention are being worked out as rapidly as possible, poss-ible, and indications point to a most successful convention, Chief Lambert states. |
