Show Why doesn't Cedar City preserve pre-serve its Pioneer heritage? Cedar City by Its strategic location lo-cation was a prominent pioneer settlement. Here It was on Sept. 30, 1952 that the first iron was run west of the Mississippi. This alone makes It historically important. im-portant. The first plow that was made from some of the first Iron has been sent to another place because they have made facilities facili-ties available to preserve and display dis-play it. There are many Instances where valuable relics are being sent to Salt Lake and the county seat simply because there is no place here to care for them. People Peo-ple from all ovr the world come ' to see our parks; why don't we play up our historical importance import-ance and have a suitable place to preserve and display our relics re-lics before they are forever lost to us.
