Building Program Calls For Two New Structures on College Hill Plans are progressing for the construction of two new buildings build-ings at the College of Southern Utah during the coming year, and for renovation of the heating heat-ing system of the science building. build-ing. Bids on the science building heating project wUl be opened by the State Building Board in Salt Lake City on May 2, and it is hoped that this work will start soon after school closes later in ' May. It Is hoped also that some other improvements In the building build-ing can be made during the coming com-ing summer. Plans are nearly complete for a new trades building on the campus and a call for bids should be issued on this structure struc-ture In the near future. An appropriation ap-propriation of $200,000 has been made for the trades building, and detailed plans and specifications specifi-cations should be completed early ear-ly next week. The new building, which has been under the plan-' nlng stage for some time, will be . erected immediately west of the ' Memorial Fieldhouse on the , campus". It Is expected that the livestock shed located In the same area, will be moved and the new buildings will occupy this space and, of course, additional addi-tional space to the north.
