Show Bryon Badwin Dies Following Prolonged Illness Bryon Baldwin, 40, a resident of Cedar City for many years, died Friday of a heart attack after many years of poor health with frequent periods of serious Illness. Ill-ness. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted In the Cedar Sixth Ward Chapel Monday afternoon, and burial was made in the Beaver City cemetery. Baldwin was born In Beaver on Sept. 13.. 1914, a son of "Oscar and Julia Parkinson Baldwin. He is survived by two daughters, Beverly and Ann Baldwin, Ely, Nev.; ond three sisters, Mrs. Odessa B. Gentry, Cedar City; Mrs. lone B. Orton, Parowan, and Mrs. Mars;urite B. Bonn, Summit Sum-mit City, Calif. The funeral services were conducted con-ducted by Bishop Paul Stokes of the Cedar Sixth Ward, with Mrs. William Condie at the organ. Speakers were Dr. J. S. Prest-wlch Prest-wlch and Lehl M. Jones, with brief remarks by Bishop Stokes. Invocation was by Samuel Leigh and benediction by LaNoir Jones. The dedicatory prayer at the cemetery was by Warren C. Thompson of Beaver. The musical program included two vocal solos, "In the Garden," and "Abidrt With Me," by Ralph Hafen, accompanied by Miss Re-nee Re-nee Gentry, and a vocal solo, "Dear Lord I Pray," by lone Lambert, iiccoinpanied by Shirley Shir-ley Cowan. |
