Show Funeral Services Mark Passing of Margaret C. Smith ; ' . - ' ; v - ". ' i l 'J J I v.; ; , li4-4;: A, i ' V.I L i MARGARET C. SMITH Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Margaret C. Smith, widow of Jacob N. Smith, in the College Ward Chapel, with Bishop's Counselor Coun-selor Ralph Thompson presiding. Mrs. Smith died January 5 of a heart ailment after many years of poor health. Speakers at the service were William R. Palmer and John M. Brown, while sentiments were read by Mrs. Thurza Little, and remarks were given by counselor Thompson. Prayer at (the mortuary mort-uary prior to the servlcess was by Gordon Smith. Invocation was by Lehl M. Jones, benediction by Dr. O. Anderson, and the dedicatory ded-icatory prayer by David A. Smith. The musical program included a vocal duet, "In The Garden," by Mr. and Mis. Howard Wood, accompanied by Alan Seegmiller; a vocal solo by Jack Wright, Salt Lake City, and a violin ensemble selection, "A Perfect Day" by Roy L. Halverson, Marilyn Halverson, Richard Webster and Mary McDonald, Mc-Donald, accompanied by Mrs. Seegmiller. Prelude and postlude organ music was by Mrs. Irene Hyatt. |
