Show Parowan Rams Gird Loins for First Division Game After drawing a bye in the opening round of play in the Millard Mil-lard Division last week, the Parowan Paro-wan High School basketball team embarks on th defense of the division title which it won last year, on Friday evening of this week. Coach Bruce Decker's Rams open league play against the Tigers of the Milfoid High School at that place, and are expecting to run into some of their tough- The Milford Tigers fell before a surprisingly strong Delta quiru tet last Friday at Delta by a 49 to 28 score, and will be fighting to avenge this loss in the game on their home fioor Friday. In the other league game last week, Millard High of Fillmore came to Beaver and won a two point victory, 46 to 41 after a tough battle, thus giving the Millard County teams n head start in the division race. The Rams sp-nt their bye week end by going to Panguitch and taking the measure of that team by a 73 to 43 score, with all of the Tarowan squad taking part and going like a house-afire. In the other league game this Friday Delta goes to Millard for the first of their annual battles, with Beaver getting a bye. |
