Show City Polio Fund Drive Chairman Addresses Lions Club Walter Lowe, Cedar City chairman chair-man of the March of Dimes polio fund drive, was guestfcf the Lions Club at its regular noon luncheon lunch-eon Monday at Hotel El Escal-ante. Escal-ante. Lowe presented an outstanding film dealing with Polio, entitled, "They Shall Not Want." He also outlined the activities of the city fund drive and what is contemplated contem-plated for the annual drive month, January. Musical entertainment for the luncheon was furnished by Miss Carol Endsley who sang two vocal vo-cal solos, "One Alone," and "The Desert Song." She was accompanied accompa-nied by Janice Jones. The program was under the direction di-rection of Lion Rodney Brown. The civic group was urged to sup- port the March of Dimes this year by Lowe as he pointed out the need for- additional funds this year. |
