Another project was to plant a pine tree, since the pine is the group's emblem, on the church grounds. The boys have raised funds for these projects, and for the purchase of their Trail Builder sweaters, and to purchase two more trees to be planted on the church grounds, through the sale of greeting cards, stationery and children's books. From their funds they also sent a $5.00 contribution and a Christmas Christ-mas gift to Miss Williams in the mission field, and both groups have paid tithing as a class. ' |
