Show Annual Junior Prom Friday Night, Post-Prom Saturday The outstanding social event of the entire season at the Parowan high school, the annual Junior Prom, will take place this Friday, March 22, and the members of the Junior class are putting in many long hours getting ready for the aflair. They promise an outstanding dance with decorations decora-tions to compare with any ever seen here. The Prom will be held in the high school gymnasium, with the theme, to be carried out in the decorations and programs, to be "Deep Purple," it is announced by Miss Ida Talbot, chairman. Dancing will start at 9 p. m. to music by the Starliters orchestra of Cedar City. A floor show during dur-ing the evening will see all 55 members of the class taking part. Assisting Miss Talbot as members mem-bers of the Prom committee are the following students: Marlene Mortensen, decorations; Donald Haycock, lighting; Myrna Halter-man. Halter-man. floor show: Garry Rumm- ler, tickets and programs; Deon Robinson, advertising, and Jean-nine Jean-nine Hyatt, assembly. William Jones and Mrs. Mona D. Reese are the faculty advisors to the junior class. A post prom will be held Saturday Sat-urday night in the gymnasium for junior high school students, with an invitation extended to parents and patrons to attend, also. |
