Show Buys First Ticket for Jaycee-Ette Fashion Show , J ' -A ;J - :i l' fclMl- V'- A I II ' ' ' ...... ... ... Ji'l Haymer Morris purchases the first ticket tic-ket for the annual Jayce-Ette Fashion Show to be presented in the public school auditorium on Thursday, April 3. In charge of ticket sales are Mrs. Gerald Ashworth, standing left, and Mrs. Myles Morris. Seated is Mrs. Gam McAfee, in charge of invitations. Emphasis is being made of the fact that the annual fashion event is not an affair for women only, but that men are not only invited to attend, at-tend, but should enjoy the show very much. The theme of this year's show will be "Syncopated Fashions," and in addition to a showing of women's wear, children's clothing will also be featured. Cooperating Cooperat-ing with the Jaycee-Ettes in staging the fashion show are the following business firms: Priscilla Shop, Moderne Style Shoppe, Mary Palmer Shop, Taylor Style Shop, Stevens and Company, J. C. Penney Pen-ney Company, Mode O'Day Frock Shop, and Lillian's Tot and Gift Shop. Other committee members assisting with the annual event are Mrs. Burns Sherratt, chairman; Mrs. Sheldon Olds, Jaycee-Ette president, advisor; Mrs. Forrest For-rest Hunter, Mrs. Jack Thuet, Mrs. Jos. W. Bauer, Mrs. Max Wood, Mrs. Ben Riddle Rid-dle and Mrs. Norman Esmeier. |
