Show Council Will Elect Two Members At Meeting Thursday Two members of the central committee of the Cedar City Coordinating Co-ordinating council will be elected at the next meeting of the group to be held Thursday, evening March 27. The terms on the central committee com-mittee of two of the most active members In the council will expire ex-pire next week, and successors will be named in the election Thursday. William Snow, chairman, chair-man, who has served continuously continuous-ly on the committee for the past nine years, and Mrs. Arthur Gardner who has been a mem-,ber mem-,ber of the committee since the I council was organized 12 years I ago, will end their terms at the Thursday meeting. Nominated to fill the two vacancies va-cancies are Gordon Christensen and B. F. Quinn, to succeed Mr. Snow, and Mrs. P. K. Edmunds and Mrs. J. M. Brown, to fill the vacancy left by Mrs. Gardner. Community planning and zon-ing zon-ing will, be the feature subject of discussion at the meeting next Thursday. George Smeath and Leon Frehner, planning experts, will be in attendance to discuss dis-cuss planning problems with the residents of Cedar City. |
